Product focus summer 2015

I don’t know about you but summer is just my favourite time of year, each year I look forward to long lazy Sundays in the warm sunshine, weddings, barbecues and those who know me well know I am partial to a good party! So for these reasons I need my skin to look to fabulous at all times. I’ve always been very lucky with my skin and have always looked much younger than I actually am (thanks Mum for the good genes!) but now I’ve hit 30 I’m more conscious about ageing and keeping my youthful complexion so I was unbelievably excited about taking on Lumafirm by Pevonia at the salon. This is a line that promises to instantly lift and brighten the skin, lighten and refine skin texture and it has a repairing effect on the facial contours.

The line consists of an in-salon facial treatment and 3 products to use at home containing super effective ingredients such as sorghum which is enriched with vitamins B2 &C, potassium and iron that has a tightening effect on the skin, diacetyl boldine to brighten the complexion and kombucha (normally a beverage created by the ancient Chinese for its amazing health benefits) containing a cocktail of vitamins and enzymes to boost skin renewal.

When all 3 products are used in synergy, it gives the skin an airbrushed finish, no need for foundation which for me is a complete god send!  The time I save applying foundation in the morning is a few extra minutes hitting snooze on the alarm!
